Gaststätte Franz is the historic inn at the heart of Brochterbeck — a traditional gasthaus lovingly revived by a citizens' cooperative and today run with real warmth by host Hendrik Schöpker and his team.

The kitchen serves honest, hearty regional cooking alongside a changing selection of home-baked cakes — perfect after a day on the Teutoschleifen trails. There is a cosy restaurant and café, a function hall for celebrations, and a lovely beer garden for warm evenings.
